Thursday, Sept. 08, 2005 - 9:57 a.m. On Labor Day we were sick of staying in the house and just talking insesantly on the phone. "Do you want to do something?" That's all she had to say. Next thing I know I was on the bus ready to meet up with her at the train station. It sucks not having a car but at the same time it can truly show you if someone wants to spend time with you. By 4pm we were already on our way to Lincoln Rd at the beach and we had our glances (plenty of 'em) we had our coffee, I spent way too much time pointing out all the cute little kids and all the 'adorable' things that they were doing. I'd glance in her direction and she was smiling. She'd look at me for too long and immediately I felt my face all flush, and she'd sporadically take my hand and kiss it or put her cheek on it. She looked so disappointed when it was time to leave. "This is the part that I hate", she'd say with a noticeable pout. I just reminded her that every beginning has to have an end in order for another beginning to ensue or what not. She knew I was right, though. She called me and kept me company while I was on the bus on my way home. I never knew Labor Day would be so much fun.
